Any ideas for a last minute fairy godmother costume?
I made my 14 month old daughter's costume. She is going to be Abby Cadabby, the fairy in training, from Sesame Street. I figured I should be "Fairy Godmommy" that Abby always talks about but I've never seen. The only fairy godmother I can think of is from Cinderella and she's a little fuddy-duddy for my taste... any suggestions?
Omg, that is the cutest idea!!! They never show Abby's mommy, only a muffled "snoopy voice" on the phone. I would mix fairy looks. The Disney Fairies have some pretty simple costumes one can make, as does the Blue Fairy from Pinnochio (very 'old Hollywood' look with that flowing gown, too). Or maybe do a grown-up version of Abby with a ballerina-style dress, wings, and those cute little pom poms in your hair? Whatever you decide on, really hope you two have a ball!!
