Can a macbook pro slow down if you uninstall and reinstall snow leopard over and over?

I have a macbook pro for like 7 months and i installed snow leopard on it but i felt it was slow so restarted the whole mac over to factory setting and install snow leopard again and now i get the beach ball more often. So do you's think that i might of messed up the hard drive and slow my mac down?

You said that you reset your Mac to it's factory settings. I think there is one little text file some where on your computer that is a system file that counts how many times you reset your computer to it's factory settings. I think that is the only thing that is left over from resetting your Mac so resetting your Mac will not make it slow. Not even if re-install Snow Leopard because it is the same as installing it for the first time. I think that you backed up your computer and restored it so because i don't think you would delete all of your files. So there might be something on your computer that is making it slow that you backed up that when you restored it, it made your computer slow again.
