Can someone please explain to me the point of facebook for babies?
...and small children?
I was looking through a friend's album today of a recent gathering. In a few of the pictures, there a baby tagged as "Jack Brown" (not the real name). I assumed Jack Brown was the dad or something, but after a few more pictures I got curious and clicked the link to the profile. And guess what - Jack Brown is 9 months old.
Now, I just don't understand the point of that. At that point, what is his profile going to look like - "interests: crawling, raffi, my lightning mcqueen onesie"? If you want to put up pictures of your child, can't you just put them as an album on your own facebook and call it "Jack's first birthday"? What is the point of making a facebook for someone that young?
alright so it is a little ridiculous, but i have one for my dog. it's because my dog is so cute and my friends wanted kept asking to see more pictures of her, so i just made her a facebook and put her pictures up so that they were all in one easy place. i'm sure the parents know how silly it is to make their baby a facebook page (i know how silly it was to make my dog one) but it's just something funny and kind of cute to do. besides, as long as the privacy settings are to the max then there is really no harm done.
