What kind of caterpillar is this?
I found him in my house this morning. I've seen others like him on the vine in my backyard but that was months ago and they're all gone now.

Macro photo of him. Anyway I think he might be a late bloomer or something so I set up a little house for him with some of that vine and the dirt that's under the vine.

What I wanna know is if I need to provide him with anything so that he grows into a butterfly. I set him up in my window so I can open it when it's warm out and close it if it gets too cold or anything.
Oh yeah I'm in El Paso, Texas. It's a desert. If that helps with finding out what kind of caterpillar this is. Thanks in advance.
Okay I did some quick research and it looks a lot like a Genista Broom Moth caterpillar...anyone agree? Disagree? Looks like he's going to be a moth. :3

Yes I agree, that's what it appears to be - but I can't find any solid information on it that will help you take care of him - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caterpillar - that's just some basic information... sorry I couldn't help more.
