Sims 2 PC Game Mod using Christianlov's Sims Boutique Cothing Rack?
I want to use Christianlov's clothing rack to change the appearance and clothing on townies and NPC's , I have downloaded the mod but where do I find it and how do I use it in the game, do I have to make the townie selectable......and then what, hope someone can help me, I have used ctrl shift on a town and can bring up like a colourful machine gun type of thing where I can buy clothes but I want to to the cosmetic surgey thing as well!!
hmmm, could you give me a link to it. I know I've heard of that creator before but I don't know where to find their stuff. Also, could you list which ep's and sp's you have so I can try to make sure it's made to work in those games?
But do a search for it on your pc to be able to find the file that got downloaded. Then, if it is in a zipped folder, try to right-click on it and see if you can find something about extracting it. You need to get the files that are inside of the zip or rar folder out of it before you can use them.
Then, once they are out, they need to go into a Downloads folder. But not just any Downloads folder, it has to be in the correct location. If you are on XP, you can find the correct folder here:
My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads.
If you open the folder called The Sims 2 and you don't have a downloads folder, you can just right-click on an empty spot and then click on New/Folder and name it Downloads.
If you have to click on your name when you first start your computer though, you have to make sure that you make this Downloads folder under your user name, or the game still won't see it. Plus, do not try to put it in the Program Files folder. There are actually two places where the game puts folders, under My Documents and under Program files. It has to be in the folders that are found under My Documents.
